"Bad Bad customer service"
Lowes carpet my be very good but their installers are horrible. You have to wait and wait and wait. They never call you when they say they will. You call customer service and they tell you the same thing every time and still never call. Will never buy Lowes carpet again.

"Do it at your own risk"
Lowes' contractor refused to install the t-mold transition. According to them, they only do carpets and not hardwood. So now, I have to hire a different contractor to finish the job. Aside from that, they sent workers who couldn't speak english. How can we understand each other? Never again!

"Extremely unsatisfied."
The first installers did a horrible job. the seam was awful and they damaged another section. The carpet was poorly stretched. All in all, the carpet needed to be replaced. Service Pro's only ordered enough to replace half the room. Naturally the color and pattern did not match. Service pro then ordered replacement carpet to cover the entire room. They finally scheduled the re-install. We move furniture for the 2rd time. We wait all day, and now they are a half hour passed the time window. It is now probably too late in the day. My advice, go to Home Depot. If not them, then anyone other than Lowes. Very disappointed.Very dissatisfied.

"Horrible install"
We had excellent carpet in our home but the color was purple and we wanted something more neutral so we made the worst decision ever by ordering carpet from Lowe's. The installers were rude. We initialed paperwork for approved seams in the carpet. Where we approved 1 seam they tried to put 3. When we questioned them as to where the seams were going to be they got very rude and degrading toward my 68 year old mother. Only after mentioning the unauthorized seams did he go out to the van and place a large piece of carpet that actually fit the room, instead of the patch job of a carpet he tried to put down. Our home HAD beautiful oak baseboards and trim in every room. Every single room has scrapes scratches and dents in the trim and baseboards. These installers were so careless. This is day 1 and the carpet is lifting in multiple spots. They left the old tack strips from the old thicker carpet and placed the new thinner carpet on top and you get stabbed in the foot when you walk through a transition area or near the baseboard. I am completely horrified by the installation! We immediately inspected the work that was done and all I can say is I feel like we ripped up beautiful high quality carpet and put down garbage. I am beyond disgusted.

"Carpet wrinkles 2in.high in every room"
Jacksonville ,fl. Westside. Carpet and upgrade pad installed ,and after first year a couple of small wrinkles and with in 24 months every room in house you could trip over them. I spoke with Flooring mgr. About 10 different times over last 3 months also the store manager. Had a Lowes rep Come out and measure house, said Lowes would call. No call again back to store . Said Installation Dept would not cover. Manager said he was waiting on vendor response. Have been waiting on that several weeks ? I'm retired disabled vet just wife and I very low traffic and wife vacuums possibly too much .makes all take shoes off. 6,500 pissed in wind. Built house 28 years ago this is 4th carpet and worst .I don't know how they stay in business with the poor customer service.

"The JNS flooring people asked more money during work"
The guy from JNS asked me to buy screws from lowes so that the wood is firm and it makes less noice and when I went to lowes as directed by the contractors, they asked me for labor cost of 400$ just to put screws. Lowes and JNS work together is scamming people and taking money forcefully. Lowes customer service called me and asked to make payment otherwise the labor will not work. I would never recommend service from Lowes. The store manager at lowes piscataway was also part of this whole scam. Very dissatisfied.

"Very Satisfied"
Love my carpet; the installers were polite and mindful of my belongings. The whole process could use some streamlining; too many steps to get to the actual installation

"Installation"
We purchased a good quality carpet from Lowe's and had their installers. The carpeting after 4 years is still in very good condition. The installation was not done properly and now all four rooms are rippling. The manager told us sorry, the warranty has expired and proceeded to tell us the problem was all on us. He lied about the problem and I know this because professionals told us this would only happen if the installation was done incorrectly. My advice, DON'T PURCHASE LOWES CARPETING AND USE THEIR INSTALLERS!

"Cheap carpet"
I had my carpeting installed last year it looks like it was installed 10 years ago. I walk on it with socks mainly, this has to be cheaply made, they claim it is stain resistant, it is definitely not we have no idea where 9/ 10 of the stains on this carpeting has come from. Next year I'm planning on someone else laying a better quality of carpeting that's how disgusted and disappointed I am. I do have the 5 year warranty but depending on what I can do with that depends on if I'm going to use it or not, I hate this carpeting so bad!! Even the texture right after laying it isnt soft. Another thing the installers were late they came in and had every excuse as to why they couldn't lay my carpet after arguing with them, the truth came out and they had another job to be at by the time they got to me, so I guess they thought they were going to skip me, they eventually made another appt about a week later..

"A horrible experience"
I got the best carpet I could purchase with all the warranties. After a while, we started seeing dog urine stains in some parts of the carpet. The dog is potty trained so there weren't too many spots although I could not get them out. After months of calling, having the carpet inspected, getting it professionally cleaned 2 times (one at my expense) and ALL the inspectors agreeing the spots were there, Lowes (specifically Joshua Buchbinder) refused the claim. There is no appeal and no recourse. I believe most people give up after the first 3 months and that they don't replace any of their carpets. A complete scam from a reputable company. the disappointment is beyond belief.
