"Discolaration"
Had 3 rooms of Martha Stewart carpet in stalled 11 years ago in a condo in Jupiter Florida. we come here January and February and sometimes a few days later on to check on the condo. The few times we had a spill on the the carpet it immediately turned pink or lost its color, the color is tan. Only used water and clean toweling. Went back to Home depot and they would not come out and look at it. Just wanted you to know, we will never buy carpet from Home Depot any more, we live in Bluffton South Carolina and our carpeting is like new.

"Terrible"
Worst! Carpet looked 10 years old within 2 years. We followed all warranty protocols and only utilized the company Home Depot demanded we use for carpet cleaning. We only used water ourselves. The carpet flattened out and looked terrible, the barrier that was on top to prevent stains failed after 6 months and the carpet that was never supposed to get lumps or stretch in its lifetime developed hills after only 3 years.

"Trying to file claim for staining"
I'm giving this a neutral rating because overall it's been easy to get out stains if you do it pretty quickly. But there have been some stains that never came out so trying to figure out how to file a claim because I have the 15 year warranty that says stains are covered! Had some tomato sauce and some dark black stains that just didn't come out with professional cleaning. Also be very careful about what you put on the carpet it will fade!

"Horrible!"
I purchased Martha Stewart from Home Depot and it was installed in January 2013. Within 15 months the seams had come undone. I called Home Depot about it and was told the installation was no longer under warranty. Ok - so I covered the seam area with an area rug. Last week I had a carper expert come out to see what could be done. He told me to pull my original sales information from Home Depot which I did. He showed me where Home Depot has a limited lifetime warranty for the installation for seams and a few other items. So Home Depot misled me. I called this week and filed a claim against the installation and the fact that the carpet is now delaminating (fibers coming off of the backing. I paid over $6,000 for the carpet/installation. Home Depot is sending a representative from the original installer out to take pictures and this issues has been elevated to senior management at Home Depot. I am prepared to fight hard to have this carper replaced at no cost to me. Like others I have had areas start to appear that look dirty or in some cases color fade. These areas are not near the windows so it's not from the sunlight. But the delamination is a failure from the manufacturing process. Be aware and keep your original receipts and file a claim if necessary. If you don't have your receipts, Home Depot should still have them under your phone number.

"Martha Stewart Carpet"
Wow! I was really surprised to read all of the negative comments about Martha Stewart carpet. I had my living room carpeted with it about 10 years ago and was checking to see where I could get it again as I need it replaced. The only reason I'm replacing it is because my dog had started going in one spot of the carpet when she was young, and after repeated shampoos and scrubbings of the area it's faded, buckled, and the nap has been flattened in that area, so I have this 2 x 2 fade spot in it that doesn't match the rest of it. so I figured I'd just replace it as my dog is now older and fully house trained now. The rest of the carpet still retained its rich color, nap texture, hand and the grain is like it was when i first bout it. I'd compared it to a scrap I had in my attic from when I first had it installed, and was surprised how close it was to the original. I had my den carpeted with another brand from Home Depot a couple years after I had the Martha Stewart carpet, and it hasn't held up nearly as well as the Martha Stewart carpet, and the pile is all flattened and just looks tacky, while the Martha Stewart carpet pile is almost the same as when I first bought it, and the color (coca) still looks good except for the doggie area. I'd really fallen in love with the Martha Stewart carpet.

"Martha who!"
I am discourage this carpet has not held up and it is not even 5 years old! I have had dogs despite some permanent stains the carpet has been cleaned by professionals. Doesn't stand up well to everyday traffic. I would never by again and would love to request a refund. Martha stick with planting bulbs!

"Trash Carpet"
Bought my carpet in 2011, now I need it re stretched and the carpet looks like it is 30 years old instead of 7. Martha Stewart carpet is the worst carpet I have ever bought. If you go to get carpet and you see Martha Stewart brand, run the other way. Very disappointed with my carpet!

"Garbage carpet"
After six months the carpet started to unravel, and with lines appearing the length of the room. Home Depot did nothing to help, and were quite rude about it. A representative from Martha Stewart came to my home, looked at the carpet did some testing on it. That was 8 months ago and haven't heard a word. Carpet is junk. What a waste of money.

"Bad"
After five years, carpet looks the same as some of my original 29 year old carpet. Spots in the carpet have the nap coming out of it. Very bad carpet.

"Disappointing Martha Stewart Carpet"
Worst carpet I've ever installed. Looked 10 years old after 6 months. $7000 mistake. Very disappointing - will all have to be replaced. Home Depot did not stand behind their warranty. Will never buy Martha Stewart carpet or any carpet from Home Depot again.
