"Great Lake Vinyl Planking DO NOT BUY"
We were so excited to put in a vinyl floor through out our Living room, dining room, Kitchen and entryway. I did research and ended up buying the Great Lakes Defender Series, Dusty Tavern vinyl flooring. Well, its been just horrible ever since. The flooring pops up and does not stay connected. The end pieces are broken. My husband took it apart and fixed the broken pieces to have it happen again and again. Just a waste of our money!

"Great Lakes Flooring ..NOT SO GREAT!"
I am about to take all the damn wood flooring out. It is not quite 3 years old. The boards are all splitting/I now see this is a huge DESIGN flaw. By the nature of the ''hand-scraped look, The boards are already compromised stain is all wearing off! The splitting and lifting is so Bad. They sent an independent flooring specialist. He tried to BLAME the crappy product on my dogs! Hey dude, my 2 standard poodles don't even go to the living room! I will never buy any product from GREAT LAKES FLOORING ..Not even if it was free!

"Complete garbage"
I also had installed the superfast brand delaney Tuscany rigid flex. And even after six months the seams were separating! The tabs are so brittle nearly all of them have cracked and broke after 2 years! Install was of 2020. Tried to get menards and manufacturer to do something but they make up bs excuses. Now over 500 sq.ft. is all trashed. Please stay away from this garbage brand!

"Great lakes 6' White Oak natural"
Special ordered almost $4,000 worth of "Great lakes 6" White Oak Natural" hardwood flooring from Menards. 3/8" thick X 6" wide, random lengths. SKU # 742-3590, 888216230400, model 23-4-040, with a production date of November 19, 2020. In less than 2 years, we've had to have 2 boards professionally cut out and replaced because of "voids" in the underlayment plywood (obvious manufacturing defect) at a cost of over $400. Floor looks great, was professionally installed, but don't count on it lasting. Great lakes obviously has NO quality control.

"Superfast- Hurricane Very Poor Quality"
This poor quality flooring, didn't last a year before cracking straight across the seams. We tried to replace the cracked flooring with extra planks we had leftover. Therefore, the company says that voided the warranty. This company doesn't stand behind it's warranty. Do not chose "Superfast" flooring unless you want to replace it sooner than later.

"Didn't last 9 months"
This product didn't last 9 months without breaking at nearly every seam. I chose this product because it was very hard and scratch resistant, but it is too hard and thus brittle. When walking on the floor, you can hear pops as the locking tabs break with the slightest flexure. I submitted a warranty claim and will be removing this flooring soon.

"Leave it on the shelf because you don't want it."
Doesn't lock together properly and breaks way to easily. Straight up garbage for a middle to upper end price. At least when a customer goes cheap there's a reason for the failure of the flooring.

"Horrible"
Was told and sold on buying this horrible flooring. Kept breaking very easy, not easy to install, flimsy, pricey for quality, looks good when finally got it down but I can tell I'm gonna have problems with it I'll buy different brand for the rest of the house

"Great Lakes vinyl flooring"
Great Lakes vinyl flooring is the worst flooring I have ever used. I would give it a negative 10 if that was an option. This brand is Junk. The directions states "just snaps in place" for easy installation. This statement alone is false! Its not easy at all, once you get it into place you will struggle to keep it down-it pops up' even when you follow all the manufacture instructions. Be very careful ends will crack off! The floor panels won't stay together, they chips and cracks very easily. I know how to install flooring, this is not my first time installing vinyl flooring, this is the worst of the worst to work with. I would not recommend "Great Lakes Flooring"! Do Not Buy!

"Floors of distinction sucks"
I purchase 1000 square feet of the hanscraped acacia, and 360 sq ft of the mocha, some of the acacia is lifting after only two years, i went to buy more to replace it and i was told it was discontinued and no one even has old stock! what about the warranty? who is going to stand behind the flooring? am i suppose to rip up all the flooring and buy another brand and just burn the floors of distinction? i think it is poor of a company to discontinue an item without having some kind extra stock for replacement? what kind of a company is this? very very dissapointed in them and menards.
