"Floors are pealing"
I am very upset with this company and it's overall horrible product. Started to peel up a couple of months after installation. Finally got them to send out an inspector to find out what they were going to do about it, and they blamed us. They said that our Kuerig coffee maker (we don't drink coffee ourselves so it has been used maybe 4 times) that was in the kitchen caused the peeling in that room. They said we had a "friend" install the flooring. That friend was out general contractor, who was there during this inspection. Mind you, no peeling under the dishwasher or sink. It is also peeling outside of one bathroom, which they blamed on condensation. Plus the inspection report has no contact information.

"Forget ever getting recourse for damaged flooring under warranty"
My parents installed Johnson Villa Malibu Series Oak (Harvest) 3-5/8" JVC-OAK03 - Discount Pricing | TrueHardwoods flooring in their new home in 2012. The product was purchased through a supplier in Austin, Texas by their builder. The laminate flooring had a gloss finish that was scuffed and dented almost immediately, despite chairs with protective glides and felt slides. After 9 years of increasingly poor condition of the flooring, we contacted the supplier, provided photos of the extreme wearing, and asked that they work with Johnson to honor the warranty, which was still in effect (purportedly). It took six months for Johnson to respond to the supplier, and when they did, they said it was the consumer's fault because of the lack of protective cushions on the chairs, etc. They came to this conclusion without inspecting the floors and not knowing that furniture glides were used. It has been a horrible experience all the way around, and I cannot advise strongly enough to avoid using Johnson Flooring. They will not honor their warranty, and the quality of their product has been a huge disappointment.

"Terrible - avoid Johnson Flooring"
Installed 1500sq feet professionally in temperate climate - finish stared peeling off in 9 months with little wear / no dogs / no small kids. Also, if an area get even damp & is wiped up immediately the finish will peel off. Avoid this brand.

"Failed within 1year"
Spent $11K for engineered hardwood. About a year later some boards showed signs of finish coming off. Called local flooring and they contacted Johnson to arrange an inspection. My claim was rejected because "the humidity is on the low end of spec". Spec is 35% my house measured 36% on the day of inspection. Contacting Johnson was a waste of time. The local vendor has replaced broken boards at no cost, but more failures have occurred since that time. Bottom line... I plan to have it completely refinished. My cost.

"Cheats"
I had a contract with the full amount to pay for flooring. I paid 1/2 down so they could order it. Then they wanted me to pay other half before they installed. When I went to pay it, price had gone up 20%. This was wrong & deceitful. They are cheats. I was moving into a house & had to get the flooring in so I had no other choices. I am upset that took advantage of an older woman.

"Love my floor"
Love the look, feel and style of my Johnson hickory pub series floor. It is now almost a year old..The only thing is that it does not tolerate a wet mop. I use a dust mop only and spot clean with a fine spray of wood floor cleaner and dry rag.

"Avoid This Brand!"
We had 1,500 square feet installed. Immediately we found that the wood was so soft, our dog's nails would scratch into it. Carry a small pebble into the house? You're toast. After six months we had areas of finish peeling off of the surface. Our humidity levels are maintained between the recommended 35-55%. It took almost another six months of dealing with the company to have a claim filed. We were required to pay someone to come out, cut portions of our floor out and send it to the manufacturer for testing. Of course they came back with saying it was our fault due to environment and average wear and tear. Their warranty only protects them - not you! Now I have flooring that's one year old and looks like 20.

"Do not buy... you will regret!"
We have had the johnson hardwood floors for less that two years. It scratches and dents so easily. We had about 1500 sq ft of the johnson hardwood in maple installed. It looked beautiful for a couple days, but now almost every piece is scratched or dented. Devastating... not sure what to do.

"Avoid at all cost"
It's been two months and my floors are still not complete. I have had 5 different crews come out trying to correct mistake after mistake. Installers have had drugs in my home, others have have done the worst job and another crew threw away base boards. They never have the tools or suppla they need. The warehouse manager refuses to return calls. Never never trust this company.

"Do not buy this product"
We spent $18,000.00 on this product. After five years the engineered wood floor is coming apart. Johnson is claiming the installer is responsible. We had three quotes from installers, they all said it's the manufacturer defect. Warranty is useless.
