"Poor Quality- Stay Away!"
We had Beaulieu carpeting installed in 3 rooms of a new house, and paid to have it upgraded to Berber. We have lived here 3 1/2 years and the carpet is showing wear marks in every room. We do not have children or pets and do not wear shoes in the house. I have had the carpets cleaned. When I filed a claim, I was able to show proof of professional cleaning for the previous year (2016) but not for 2015. Beaulieu said there was nothing they could do and turned down my claim.

"Early wear with Beaulieu carpet"
Went to a flooring store and requested a high durable carpet. We had good experience with Berber in the past so we decided to go that route again. Based on color we selected a Beaulieu carpet. Less than one year after installation the carpet had severe wear issues. A representative from the flooring company agreed it had early wearing and sent in a remnant to the mill for testing. The mill claimed it passed their wear test with a 3.5 (on a scale of 1-5) and obviously they denied the complaint. I wished I had seen this website before purchase, based on this and other complaints Beaulieu is clearly and inferior product and company. Stay away!

"Horrible"
My carpet was dry rotted in less than 6 years. No heavy traffic, one person living alone, no flood water, no extensive water soaking. Cleaned every 12 mos by Stanley Steemer. No help from the company.

"Worst company ever Customer service"
This is by a mile the worst flooring company in the USA. They have the
worst customer service out there. They do not care about their customers
or their employees. They should just close the doors and throw away the
key. Their carpet fell apart in the first 6 months. It started out soft
and now everything that falls on it sticks to carpet. The softness is
gone. Stay away from Beaulieu products they will soon be out of business

"Worst carpet ever!"
Within months of purchase, carpet began to wear. We contacted the
distributor it was purchased from who contacted the manufacturer. They
requested a new unlaid sample of the carpet which they claimed they
inspected. They did not stand behind the product. Stay away from this
carpet! Worst purchase ever made!

"Do not buy"
Ordered Beaulieu Devoted 3108 #14 Apple Blossom Carpet to put in 3
bedrooms in our house. Part way thru the installation the carpet de-
laminated over a large area. Beaulieu said they would replace it so we
waited 3 weeks for a new shipment. This 2nd shipment of carpet was worse
then the first so we were going to cancel the order but the Beaulieu
representative in Alaska said they would send us an upgrade of carpet
for no extra cost and that they would inspect it before it left the
factory. Again waited 3 weeks and when the installers picked up the
higher grade carpet it was visibly flawed to and untrained eye.
Unbelievable! We cancelled and switched to some Shaw carpet and it
arrived fine and looks wonderful installed. I sent a long letter to
Beaulieu customer service asking for an explanation and their response
was simply that some internal procedures were not followed and they
would make changes to adhere to "standard operating procedures".
Worthless excuse for complete product and customer service negligence.
Short version of a many month beyond frustrating ordeal. Avoid this
company because they have no regard for quality and zero interest in
satisfied customers.

"Avoid Beaulieu - They do not stand behind their product"
Bought high end Berber "town square" carpet in 2008 and had it installed
in two rooms with very little traffic. We had the carpets only cleaned
professionally twice and they really did not need it since the rooms
were very low traffic (our living room and guest room) and vacuumed
every week or so. We noticed that a loop or two became loose after
vacuuming about a year ago and glued them back in place but now, less
than 8 years later, rows came up in two places. Beaulieu refuses to
stand behind the product for two reasons: 1) you must have your carpet
professionally cleaned every 12 to 18 months and have receipts as proof.
2) But even more ridiculous is that they told me the carpet was only
warranted for 1 year (yes, one year) against manufacturing defects.
Now I didn't expect large compensation but something in consideration. My expectation for a very low traffic carpet would be for it to last at least ten years. The rest of their warranties for wear, etc. are for 10 to 20 years which would imply that the carpet could last as long as 20 years!
Stay away!

"I feel robbed!"
We purchased approximately 1200 sq ft of Bliss carpeting from our local
ProSource in March of 2015 and had it installed in April of 2015. Within
three months the carpet looked years old. Everywhere we have dared to
walk looks 5-10 years old (and our ProSource dealer agrees). We are a
family of 4 and we do not wear shoes on the carpet. I maintain it
meticulously, as we waited a long time to get new carpet and I wanted it
to last and look beautiful for years to come. We spent neatly $5000
between the carpet, pad, and installation. Part of the reason we chose
this carpet was because it has what appears to be an excellent warranty
(and I was expecting that since the warranty was good, the product would
be good). It took many months, but finally an "independent" inspector,
hired by Beaulieu came. Then we waited some more for his report.
Beaulieu claims that it is because of my vacuum that our carpet it
matted in traffic areas. That is ridiculous! And our ProSource dealer
agrees. The carpet looks great in places where no one walks, and I
vacuum there the same as I do in the traffic areas. The carpet has a
raised pattern, and in the traffic areas (including places like where my
husbands feet sit not he carpet when he sits on the couch in our office)
it is totally matted down and has no pattern to it. It looks like
crappy, old carpet. I would never recommend this company - their product
is awful (I didn't realize we were spending $5000 for what has amounted
to disposable carpet! And we are stuck with it, as we don't have an
extra $5000 lying around to replace it). In addition to a horrible, sub-
standard product, they refuse to stand by their warranty. What a sham.

"Absolute Junk"
Without even moving into this home, the carpet is rolling up fuzz balls.
It is clearly defective. The vacuum gets plugged up from so much fuzz
coming off the floor. Beaulieu says this is normal. Shopping bags full
of fibre... Normal? They refuse to replace the carpet or do anything to
resolve the issue. Purchased through Home Depot... Beware of Beaulieu...
It's junk!

"Junk carpeting"
Junk carpeting; after having an independent inspector look at my one
year old carpeting it was deemed acceptable. In a traffic area it looks
like its 10+ years old. I was told to put a piece of carpeting over a
worn area and any others that might get any traffic. I didn't pay high $
for this garbage.
