Review:
"Unhappy with wear"
I choose BHK laminate because I loved the look of the light oak
flooring (and still do). However, I have been very disappointed in the
wear of the floor--it chips easily even with a pad underneath the
flooring. I can't imagine trying to replace several of the planks
without them tearing and/or chipping at the corners. The floor is
almost 5 years old, but shows wear with chips on the corners and in the
floor. It is just my husband and I in our home. I take care of the flooring--
use the correct laminate cleaner, vacuum a couple of times a week and
have runners in front of the doors to catch anything we pick up on our
shoes. I would not buy this flooring again even though I love the look
and most certainly wouldn't recommend it for an active household with
kids and pets.
