"Don't buy, Worst $$$ spent! Making me and my family Ill!"
Purchased & installed from a local shop$$$$, bubbled less than 2 years new, tried to purchase extra boxes to repair bubbled areas, but product was discontinued aaprox 1 year after manu date. Contacted re: 10 year warr, no warranty coverage! Wouldn't even try! Said should not have used the floor cleaner recommended by manufacturer. Pulled up part of flooring today, smell of mold/Mildew in the padding was overwhelming! In California well ventilated, central heat/AC. Cleaner has been seeping between the laminate planks & trapped in anti-moisture barrier padding(We paid extra for!) Causing mold and mildew. Children& adults suffering from chronic eczema, hives, migraines, asthma etc triggered by our flooring!!

"Bad mistake"
They lied about the floor, cant use a swiffer, cant use a vacuum, tabs breaking, says use finger and acetone yet it says dont. Says to use a damp rag, yet cant use one cause it will ruin the warranty. To me it's a joke to take advantage of consumers. Beware of the laminate.

"Owner purchase. Installer review."
I am a Professional Builder since 1988'
I have been installing laminate floors since They first came out.
Client purchased Mohawk Water Proof Uniloc flooring.
I started the install on 900sqft Apt .
Usual install. But as we got to the end of the run noticed it separated as we worked it together. After 4 hrs of fighting the product trying to get it to (Lock) together and stay. I gave up. Tried it again next day. Tried a few tricks.. Still separated as it was being installed.
And it cracked as it was lightly tapped together. Never had a flooring do that.
Floor basically would not stay locked together.. I noticed the Laminate was thin as a sheet of paper.
I could not warranty the floor. Returned the flooring. Went with Shaw flooring. Installed in 2 days. No issues.
The locking system on this Mohawk Flooring has no grip to hold together. On any edge. And it has a thin laminate..
Poor Quality..

"Worst flooring ever!"
We had this installed after a flood ruined our laminate flooring. Worst decision ever. And worst flooring ever! We wanted to go back with laminate but it doesn't hold up to a flood. The flooring company we used (recommended by our insurance company) pushed this flooring because it's supposedly waterproof and highly durable. Less than a week later we had white scratches in multiple places. We are not tough on flooring by any stretch of the imagination. One contractor's ladder being moved, one tape measure falling from a dresser, one dining room chair being pulled away from the table, and one light wooden TV stand have all caused crazy white scratches on this really sorry product. Least durable flooring we have ever had. And now we are very skeptical that it will be a waterproof product either. We will never use Brewer Carpet One in OKC again. Nor we will EVER buy Mohawk flooring again. Ever! Buyer beware!

"Flooring Regrets"
My husband and I built a new home 2 years ago and are still daily
regretting our decision of the installation of Mohawk Armormax
flooring. We paid $14,000.00 for this mistake. What we saw as the
sample in the flooring store was definitely different from what we had
installed. There are many things we dislike about this inferior product
namely the how easily it dents, scratches, and chips at the plank
corners along with the dullness of the finish. It always looks dirty
and hazy even with the cleaner they told us to use. We have contacted
Mohawk about it and of course they will not honor their warranty. Very
very completely dissatisfied. Just a word of advice to those buying a
Mohawk product. Don't!

"Floor stinks and so does the company"
We had a kitchen remodel through Sears. They suggested the Mohawk
laminate, had it installed by a subcontractor who told us to clean it
with Bona. The 25 year warranty isn't worth the powder to blow it up. A
year and a half later the seams are lifting all over the floor. After
many calls to Sears and Mohawk they sent an independent inspector who
said it'd been installed correctly-Sears and Mohawk say, "Oh well, too
bad." You can drop no moisture on it, let alone clean it. I keep towels
on the floor to wipe up any spill or water dropped from washing my
hands or normal kitchen use immediately. Sears says the installer is no
longer in business, Mowhawk says we didn't clean it correctly although
I just read on their page "Mohawk warrants that its laminate flooring
will be free of manufacturing defects and assures consumers against
moisture damage." - guess they should remove that from their "warranty"
or product description if I can't clean my floor with damp moping or
Bona as instructed. We have signs in our yard letting all who can see
them know that Sears and Mowhawk do not stand behind their
installations or material.

"Worst Floor Ever"
Wrote a previous review on the laminate floor that was made by Mohawk. 2
years later has many gaps now. Mohawk has no warranty. Worst floor ever.
Have 2 other laminate floors by 2 different mfgs, much older than the
Mohawk Floor, and they are still perfect. Mohawk laminate also scratches
and scuffs very easy.

"Mohawk Laminate Harmony bubbled"
One of my purchases that I regret the most, this flooring is made by
Unilin. Within a year in a dry, residential application the edges raised
and the floor bubbled. I went through the warranty claims process and an
independent flooring inspector determined that the floor was installed
properly (it was done professionally). Yet Unilin did not acknowledge
the failure of their product.
Wasted a lot of time and money on this flooring. Keep shopping!

"Very Poor Product with no Warranty"
Laminate floor started separating 2 months after installation at seams
and separating between layers. Mohawk refuses to do anything about it.
Sent an inspector to check. Blames it on subfloor. Funny I have Pergo in
den 10 years and Tranquility in another room with no problems. All same
sub floor. Very very poor quality. Read the other reviews here. Seems
like a lot of people have had same problem. We put down a very expensive
floor as my wife liked the color. We now wish we had put down
Tranquility.
