"Pergo floors worth the money"
I have owned this flooring for about 2 years. It is in my kitchen and dining room. I love the look of real wood and how easy it was to install. I also like how it does not scratch easily and seems to be very durable. The only complaint I would have is that it's not as "hard" as hard wood would be. We installed it over the original 1978 existing floor and unless you have brand new plywood underneath, you can feel it bowing slightly when walking on it. We have noticed one small chip out of one of the boards but it's not noticeable enough to replace it. I would definitely buy this brand of flooring again because it stands up to my dog's nails and my daughter's toys. It also looks very nice.I would also recommend it to a friend.

"My experience with Pergo"
I've had this floor in multiple bedrooms of my house for about three years now and I have to say, I am extremely satisfied with it. It has held up perfectly and still looks brand new. I have the light oak color and it looks really realistic. I've seen some synthetic wood floors that look like they were printed on a home printer. These can easily pass for real wood. And they are extremely durable as well. I've moved furniture around on them, dropped things, dragged things, etc. And they have yet to show any scratches. When I first got them I tested out on a sample piece the amount of effort it takes to scratch them and I've got to say it took way more than I was expecting. The installation of the flooring was also a snap, much faster and easier than wood. I would have to be hard pressed to find any faults with these floors. I would definitely put Pergo in any room of my house.

"Floor problems and horrible service!"
We had a pergo floor installed in December 2010 and noticed a few areas made crackling and popping sounds. After 4 months of back and forth correspondence between Pergo, Lowe's (who we purchased the floor through) and Pergo's inspector, we were given a new floor at no charge. The new floor, also a Pergo, creaked as well but in different areas than the old floor did. We reported this again and again the same inspector came out, took two moisture readings and came to a new conclusion that our floor creaks because we have a moisture problem in one corner. The creaking was nowhere near that corner and the readings weren't very different than the rest of the floor. I knew it was a total sham because we had no moisture problems the first time around and I had to tell him to take more readings in the room, not just one corner and one other area. So in the end, we were offered a partial refund from Lowe's, where we bought the floor, which tells me that there IS something wrong with the floor and they realize we do not have a moisture issue. I will never again buy a Pergo floor! I can't believe how they deny the fact that they have some problems with some of their floors' joints and this is what is causing the creaking and crackling.

"Pergo flooring surpasses all expectations!"
I have owned Pergo synthetic flooring for well over five years now, and it is undoubtedly the best and easiest-to-install flooring I have ever used. The installation process is far easier than traditional flooring, with its snap-and-go process, and the quality of the flooring is indistinguishable from real wood flooring, which is much harder and costly to install. A 20' by 10' room took only a day to floor completely, and still maintains after years of abuse. However, real wood flooring would definitely show some wear and tear after years of being abused by two large German Shepards, but not this Pergo! I've never had the need to replace any of the planks or the trim in all the years I have had it installed. Cleanup is easy, either with a mop or its equivalent. I would definitely recommend this brand of flooring to anyone, friend or worst enemy, both for its ease of install and cleanup.

"Good Pergo floors"
I have had this floor for about a year now in my house and it is awesome. The old floor that came with it was about 40 years old and disgusting. After looking around for some time, me and my dad decided to get Pergo flooring for the house. After a few days work the kitchen was done and the rest soon followed. It was so easy to put in and actually feels nice on the feet. It is kind of ugly though, the color isn't really the best or brightest around. They also scratch pretty easily. I haven't had to replace anything yet but i assume it would be just as easy as putting it in. All in all it was a decent flooring choice i think and i still like it.

"Pleasant Living with Pergo"
Nearly 5 years ago, I undertook what seemed like a massive project - removing the antiquated and trampled carpeting from the 3 largest rooms in my home, and replacing it with Pergo Hardwood Laminate Flooring.
After the arduous process of removing the 50 year old carpet, and cleaning the areas, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the Pergo flooring was to install. The pieces simply snapped together, aligned themselves properly, and the new floor was completed in record time!
The only complaint I had during installation, was when I had to cut the flooring. It's long term longevity can be attributed to it's harder than wood structure, which can wreak havoc on cheaper saw blades. Through trial and error, I settled on a diamond abrasive blade, and had great results.
Over the years it's stood up to more abuse than imaginable. The sales rep who sold us on the product demonstrated it's durability by taking his car keys and trying as hard as possible to scratch and scuff the surface - not a single mark was left! With regular sweeping, and an occasional coat of laminate floor polish, it looks brand new everyday.
I've only managed to damage the flooring once, over the years. A very heavy metal "sculpture" was tipped over, and some of the finer details of the sculpture dented the floor. The dents were so minor that I never bothered replacing the damaged piece!
I recommend Pergo's line of Hardwood Laminate Flooring to all of my friends, with great enthusiasm, and will be installing their flooring in my next home as well!

"Pergo Synthetic Flooring is the way to go!!"
Pergo Synthetic flooring is some of the most durable and affordable stuff your money can buy! Easy to install for those of you who enjoy fixing up your house. Over the years we have had some rather intense spills and incidents which should have scratched the flooring, but it has truly stood up against all odds. Even when we did scuff up the floor a little I have found it very easy to replace and rather cheap to buy additional pieces. The one down side, the fact that there are so little color/stain choices. While it is not necessary to have a multitude of color/stain choices and the it would be nice to have a few more options. None the less, the color which I have chosen (more of a cherry wood) has not faded and has remained almost as new as the day I installed it! While there are many choices when it comes to the synthetic flooring, as a user for the last 7 years I would strongly suggest the Pergo line of products!

"Pergo Flooring Never Lets You Down"
I have owned Pergo flooring for the last 19 years. It has been the best flooring out of all the others. It is easy to clean, does not scratch, always looks the same, easy to install, and it is soft to walk on, as compared to walking on a ceramic tile floor. A customer has to be aware of where it can be installed. This flooring does not like to be installed in a moist room. It does not like puddled water and has to be sopped up as soon as possible, so it should not be installed in a wet basement or a full bath. I understand the industry is trying to make the product moisture resistant. In all the years we owned the flooring, we had one problem. Our half bath toilet had a leak and was rotting out our sub floor. We lifted the Pergo and redid the subfloor. Starting at one corner of the room we replaced the laminate flooring with extra boxes I kept incase something happened to the floor. I recommend this flooring to all my friends and acquittances. If I ever replace the floor, I would definitely purchase a Pergo Laminate floor.

"The Ease, Convenience, and Appearance of Synthetic Flooring"
I've had my synthetic flooring for almost ten years. I used it to replace the existing carpeting. I liked the convenience and ease of self installation. It slotted together so easily and all I had to do was cut it to fit. The cost was also quite reasonable and I was able to purchase it at my local home improvement store. I didn't have to special order it or go to a flooring store. The only thing I didn't like was that the finish would slit and splinter on the end where I made my cut. This was remedied by applying low tack tap before cutting. I haven't had to replace my flooring yet, but if I do, the sections come outt easily enough. The flooring I used has held up pretty well and is also easy to clean and maintain. I like the appearance of it and I would use it again and would recommend it to others.

"Never going back to carpet! Synthetic floor is fantastic!"
A few years ago, after countless spills and animal accidents, we finally decided to replace our carpet with new flooring. We went to take a look at different kinds and decided on Pergo Laminate Flooring in American Beech. It looks SO much cleaner than carpet and there are no funky smells or embarrassing stains. Anytime we spill things now the cleanup is quick and easy, and when I sweep I'm confident I'm getting a good cleaning of the surface instead of having dust settle in like it did with that old carpet.
I also have bad allergies, and the Pergo has helped that a lot. The flooring modernized and brightened the room and now the rest of the house looks dreary in comparison. I would recommend Pergo's laminate flooring to anyone, it is wonderful. And, you can put it in yourself, it's that easy. We did it in a day and it looks perfect, edges and all. We are so, so glad we went ahead and got rid of that carpet, the Pergo looks so much better.
