"My Review of Wilsonart Laminate Flooring"
We have had our Wilsonart Laminate floor for over 10 years. It covers a large portion of our home, including our kitchen, living room and dining room. We did have it installed in the bathroom at one point, but have since replaced that room with tile. Overall we have been very satisfied and impressed with the durability of our floor. When our floor was new a burning log fell out of our woodstove and onto the bare floor. Clean up was easy as wiping the area with a wet towel. We have indoor dogs and the floor has held up to them as well. The cons of the wilsonart laminate are few, but we have found some. The edges of the boards seem to wear and lose color. Many of our boards now have yellow along the edges, and some even on the main part of the board. The flooring does not hold up to water and the edges buckle when the glue gets wet. We also go through a lot of socks due to the metal shavings included in the laminate boards.

"Scuffs and scrapes"
We've owned our wood flooring for close to 12 years now, and they've seen better days. With the foot traffic a busy family of five, the floor seemed to scrape up fairly quickly, as in, within the fist couple of years. We've had to replace some of the panels (which was a pain in itself), use flooring treatments on it to bring out its shine again, but none of it seems to last. I initially really enjoyed its vibrant shine when we first installed it, however, it did not last long. I would most definitely NOT buy this brand again, and instead go with a tile, seeing as they have more durability. I would however recommend this to anyone who has a smaller household, or to someone who wants wood flooring for a smaller, less traffic area. They do look nice, but, hold up very poorly. Not a good buy for our purposes.
