"Worst company ever"
I have tried for (4) times now to just have someone come and measure my kitchen and bathroom floors. This company has wasted 4 days of our lives promising to have someone come out. They never, never, never called to reschedule or let us know that no one was coming. I am so disappointed with this company. I will be contacting the BBB to let them know about my experience. I encourage anyone who has had issues with them, to do the same. I reside in Tennessee and will NEVER recommend them to anyone!

"Dissatisfied"
Tile is of high quality. Installers could not speak American and did a terrible job. Had to have flooring installed for second time by American workers.
Empire is hiring anybody they can to get a job done. One thing I had done that I decided not to do myself was a total disaster. Management gave me a run around when asking them to justify situation. Totally dissatisfied. Would never recommend this company for work again.

"Install was a joke"
Long story short, we had LVP installed in a small 55 sq ft walkway by our front door, replacing traditional ceramic subway tile. We knew we would need a new subfloor so that was factored into the quote. What these idiots didn't do was measure the amount of flooring needed and installed a single sheet of 1/4 inch when 3/4 inch was needed, so now the floor they installed sits a noticeable half inch lower than the rest of my floor with huge gaps under the trim. On top of that they didn't bring enough quarter round to finish the job. When questioned about why more floor wasn't added their response was "you didn't pay for more floor". These idiots have the absolute nerve to blame the homeowner for their installers screw up and dodge our calls for resolution, claiming we can't do a charge back because we signed a "contract" which also states they need to come to an agreement with us with fixing any screw ups before we go the legal route. Well it's been 3 weeks and they aren't offering any resolution, or even affording us a call back, so we are going the charge back route, along with contacting the BBB and the AG

"They damaged our floor"
We decided to replace flooring throughout most of the house. Bedrooms would get new carpet, and the 2 living areas and dining room would get vinyl floors. Each room getting vinyl flooring has an entrance to the kitchen. The Empire crew laid the vinyl floors and did a really good job. The next day or so, we noticed at each entrance to the kitchen, there are long cuts in the floor that was not there before. We called Empire and was told the crew is not supposed to do any cutting inside the home, and of course the crew denied it. Empire came to the house took pictures and said they would get back to us. To date, have not heard from them. A crew showed up to install the carpet, but we sent them on their way. We were not giving them any more money and them not compensating us for the damage done to our kitchen floor. Also, we had to put down 10% for the carpet and have been calling to get that money back - no word from Empire. So, they have sliced up our floor, which we had no plans of replacing and they have our money. We will never use or recommend Empire them again.
