"The whole floor has to be redone, we can not clean the plastic residue from the surface."
We had professional floor installers put it a kitchen for us. Followed all the directions and cleaned after laying every 5 tiles per instructions using ZEP. The floor is a mess. We are using everything under the sun to get the smear marks off the top of the tiles and are having zero luck. It's like a hard surface has dried to the top of the tiles that show every swirl from the cleaning process. We can not get it off.I am beside myself as the whole floor is going to have to come out. We have even tried sanding it off and it is permanent. Anyone have any ideas what do next?

"Dumber than monkeys"
When we were remodeling our house, our carpenter suggested snapstone for our laundry room and bathroom. I was sure that we wanted regular tile floor but I went local Menards to research product. The flooring attendant assured me that this was the product of choice and was idiot proof. She had just installed it in her bathroom floor. "Monkeys can do it" she said. So we purchased and installed two floors that is after reading instructions and watching Youtube videos. After 6 months the grout started popping out of laundry room. Also 3 tile had cracked. Now bathroom has started to lose grout. Called Snapstone about warranty and was informed that installation must have been done improperly. How? No warranty! So I went to local Menards and received no satisfaction from them contacting Snapstone. I would not recommend this product if they gave it to me.

"Do Not Waste Your Money And Time!"
I agree with the review stating that the concept was great. But buyer beware ... this project will be a total waste of your money and time. Since I installed in my kitchen back in July 2014, I have had 4 out of 110 tiles that have cracked from no apparent pressure, and now I'm afraid to roll my refrigerator away from the wall to clean behind it or replace it in fear that even more tiles will crack.

"Excellent product"
Reading all the negative comments leads me to not believing their legitimacy. four years ago I decided to do my 14x24 3 season room with Snap Stone tiles. The wood floor was not perfectly level and since the room is not heated and have had temperature swings from a minus 34 to a high in the middle 90's and not one crack. Let me say again, out of 336 tiles not 1 crack. Three walls are sliders so moisture, humidity and sub freezing temperatures have been unable to cause any damage to my tiles. I'm not the best do it yourselfer either but had excellent results and constantly get compliments on the floor after 4 years. I find it curious that there are no middle of the road evaluations either love it or hate it. I have even dropped heavy objects on the tile and still no cracks. There is a ton of traffic in this room as well. Very happy Snap Stone customer.

"Crap and no warranty"
Put this in my kitchen 4 yrs ago and tiles just keep cracking. Cracking
in not even high traffic areas. We were sitting in living room and heard
a tile pop when kids walking in kitchen. Factory came out and some idiot
said first it was my floor which is screwed and glued not any flex at
all. Then he said it was installer 35 yrs installing tile and watched
every video on install and called factory before installing for tips.
Then it was the underlament which was exactly what menaces had set up in
display in store. We put heating pad under our tile. The display said
come up and feel the warmth. Snapstone factory set it up. So we spent
3500 on all of heating and tile and I have to tear it all up. Factory
guy said was not right. He's full of crap. Do yourself a favor if you go
with tile do it with concrete board or cement. This is one review you
should take to heart. It's not any more expensive at all. Crap product
and crap warranty. They gave me two tubs of grout and one pack of tiles
and said have a great day bye. Dint buy it others with good reviews will
see over time.

"Junk"
Tiles crack all over the place complete junk. We purchased the larger
tiles and they flex to much and crack. Ripped it all out and cut our
losses! Beware worst product ever! Lost $1,000.00 over the deal and
labor not included to put in and tear out.

"Buyer beware"
I hope this review helps and no one goes thru what I have. This has to
be the worst tile product on the market! If you want 20 to 30% of
your tiles cracked go for it but I am Warning you this will happen I
wish I could post pictures to show you how bad cracks really look what
snapstone inspectors identified as spider cracks (impact cracks)not
covered under warranty typical wear and tear lol if you plan on
dropping anything spoon fork or knife tile will crack I do not believe
it is a impact problem thats just a snapstone cop out why I do not
believe because along cracks little chips are popping off along spider
cracks which tells me expanding during the seasons is problem I notice
new cracks during change of the seasons these chips popping off cracks
are a real safety problem they are like razor blades family has cut
feet on two occasions stepping on them causing a paper type cut on foot
very painful and a liability to my family and guest's I have a swimming
pool cannot come through kitchen without foot wear or there is a risk
of cutting mine or anyone else who comes in and walks in kitchen and
with friends with kids and sue happy people in the world this is a
problem I used to have guest take off shoes when entering my house now
they have to wear them causing problems with dirty carpet ect if you
purchase this product do not say I did not warn you cons far out way
pros on this product

"Worst product ever used"
Cracks for no reason think snapstone warranty would cover what they call
impact cracks no way so if you plan on dropping a knife fork or spoon
beware it will crack snapston came out and determined I had impact
cracks while checking floor tolerance inspectors had level on floor and
bumped level to fall on its side and inspectors laughed and said we just
cracked 3 more tiles did not drop level bumped sitting on floor and it
fell on its side and it was a big joke to them when inspecting whats a
serious problem to me who spent a lot of money on this junk they
manufacture
