Br-111 offers 4 distinct lines of flooring: Solid, Engineered, Locking, and Bamboo.
The collections of solid hardwood are manufactured by BR-111 in smooth and hand-scraped styles. Depending on the size of the plank, solid wood can be installed using a nail, staple, or glue down method, and certain products require underlayment as well. Solid hardwood by BR-111 is available in widths of less than 3 inches up to more than 7 inches for many different room settings.
With the benefit of additional installation options, BR-111 engineered wood floors feature smooth and hand-scraped textures to provide variety in both function and appearance. On, above, or below grade, the planks that are engineered utilize a number of techniques when installed, including being floated over underlayment. Also, the widths range from 3 inches to 6-1/4 inches and fit within the design of almost any area.
For a faster and easier installation, a BR-111 locking floor can be snapped together and floated on the underlayment layer. Starting at 4-3/4 inch widths, the locking collection is also produced in 5 inch widths and several wood types.
In general, hardwood flooring is known for its durability, and bamboo has the reputation of being tough and environmentally friendly. Because of its recent popularity, BR-111 manufacturers bamboo floors from 3-3/4 inch to 5 inch widths.
According to the BR-111 website, only a dry cloth or vacuums that have a brush, not a beater bar, should be used to sweep or dust wood flooring. Plus, area rugs and protective pads are recommended, along with products that are specifically intended for cleaning hardwood regularly. While BR-111 recommends temperatures be kept at 60 to 75 degrees, the humidity level should ideally be 35% to 55% in order to maintain the longevity and performance of the floor inside.
Limited warranties for BR-111 flooring are based on each product and extend between 15 and 50 years.
