Parquet Dubeau Ltd. offers three basic types of hardwood flooring: solid hardwood, parquet hardwood, and engineered hardwood. All three are prefinished and manufactured in Canada. Smaller, four-sided bevels are the signature of Dubeau's hardwood, as compared to the two-sided bevels typically found in other brands.
Dubeau has five different species of solid hardwood strips that are made in various grades and widths. The characteristics of red oak, ash, hard maple, yellow birch, and American cherry are detailed on the company's website. Dubeau hardwood flooring strips are 3/4" thick and available in 2 1/4" or 3 1/4" widths. They are installed using nails or staples.
Dubeau parquet hardwood flooring tiles fit together using the tongue-and-groove method for easier installation. Available in red oak, hard maple, and yellow birch, Dubeau parquet hardwood tiles are produced in a variety of grades and installed with a glue-down method.
Dubeau engineered hardwood flooring strips are 2 1/4" in width and stabilized by a 5-ply construction. The engineered flooring strips can generally withstand temperature and humidity changes without significantly expanding or contracting. In the pre-finished engineered hardwood line, Dubeau features three colors of maple and red oak wood species respectively. The strips are glued down, nailed down, stapled, or floated when installed.
Several coats of polyurethane and an aluminum oxide wear layer comprise the finish of Dubeau's solid, parquet, and engineered hardwood flooring.
