"Poor Quality & They Do Not Stand By Their Warranty! Stay Away!"
Our floors have the finish worn right off where the grain is higher, it is under 5 years on a 25 year warranty that specifically states "we warrant to you that for the period indicated (25 years)The finish on the covered product will not wear through and the finish will not separate from the flooring, under normal household use and when maintained within accordance of our recommended maintenance guidelines".
They denied our claim stating it's a "high traffic" area. We are a single family home, there is no "high traffic" here, it's just normal household use!
Then they said it could be due to "maintainance or excessive moisture intrusion". We used only Bruce hardwood floor cleaner and there is no moisture, it's nowhere near any moisture.
This is unacceptable, I also see other reviews with the same issues. Do not use this companies products. They do not honor their warranty, even when it's clear their product clearly has a problem. Shame on them, I will be taking this further! Run far far away from this company & their products!

"Horrible!"
We bought Bruce Hardwood flooring to put in our house after ripping out wall to wall carpeting. We paid a flooring company to install it. The initial look of it is nice, however, not a couple of months in and we started noticing that we were getting small splinters in our feet. My daughter actually got a HUGE chunk of splinter in her knee when she knelt down and slid on the floor (innocently, not rough housing). We do not wear shoes in the house. We do not have pets. We use appropriate cleaning methods and felt furniture pads to keep the furniture from gouging the floor. We are finding splintered edges in non-high traffic areas, as well as the main walk ways. We also have boards with powder post beetle holes in them. The installer brushed it off when I called him ("Oh, who would notice that anyway?" - Um... ME! The homeowner who paid for quality product and quality workmanship/installation!)... his guys should NOT have put those boards in... and honestly, those boards should not have been sold, period. We are NOT happy with these floors, especially for the money we paid. I would not recommend Bruce Hardwood Floors to anyone.

"A nightmare to install"
We have used Bruce hardwood flooring in the past and were very satisfied. We are in the process of installing Bruce Hardwood in our new home. What a nightmare. Opened one box and it contained nothing but short pieces under 12" in length. Many pieces were damaged with black marks and cuts in the finish. Other boxes contain warped pieces, pieces missing the grove in the edges. We had to return boxes and get replacement. Laying this floor is taking forever! I would not recommend Bruce.

"Worst Products"
We purchased 2400 sq ft and 80% was warped and cupped. Then Lowes would only do an exchange and the next batch were different widths, had inconsistent tongue and groove depths and had entire boxes of 6 inch and one foot long pieces resulting in over 50% spoilage in total. This is the product ever and cost us weeks in delays in our construction and thousands more in installation costs. More importantly Bruce won't stand by their product and you are at the mercy of your retailers return and exchange policies. I decided on Bruce because they were a well known brand and made in the USA. Its disappointing that American made product has such poor quality and worse customer service. I would never buy this product again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

"Just Scraps Total Junk"
Ordered and picked up 9 cases of plano marsh hardwood flooring. After we lugged the cases into my house I opened the boxes to find a bunch of scrap. 90 percent is under 1 foot long. The few long boards are scrap - not milled right, black marks in the finish, groves falling off, ends not cut right etc. My father was in the hardwood flooring business and used Bruce hardwood and Armstrong products for 40 years. They should be ashamed to try and sell this stuff to people. Now we have to load it back up and take it back. What a bunch of BS this is. Cant believe Bruce hardwood has fallen this low. Believe the other reviews and dont buy this junk.

"Bruce Hardwood flooring is crap!"
I have laid a lot of hardwood floor. This is the worst ever. Bowed in all directions. Ends not cut square. Missing tongues and grooves. Finish marred. Had to jack pieces in to fit. Took 3 to 4 times longer than it should have. Will never buy Bruce again. Will tell everyone I know.

"Horrible!"
Bruce has no quality control department! The flooring was received either discolored or not colored at all. The installers had to throughout so much wood, we now have a room sitting halfway completed. Now I am being told it will be an entire another month until it is completed because they do not have the wood. I am getting it all removed and going with carpet! I will make sure to tell everyone that their product is horrible and to never consider buying it!

"Excellent Customer Service"
My husband and I have been searching for vinyl plank flooring for months. I found some products from Bruce Flooring and paid for a sample from Wayfair. After months of waiting for a sample Wayfair said I needed to call the warehouse and gave me the number for the wrong flooring company. I did a little research on my own and found the flooring I loved was through AHF products. I called to see if I could purchase a sample through them and they would not let me pay after learning about the trouble I had been through. We got the samples a couple of days ago and love them. Our new vinyl plank flooring will be a Bruce Flooring product.

"Stay Away. Cheap Flooring"
I purchased a home where the builder only offered Bruce engineered floors if I wanted hardwood. Since this was my first home I thought it was a good product(according to the builder). Growing up with hardwood floors I never saw floors as soft as these. Well in my breakfast room I had chairs with casters. And even though I have a rug and a rug pad under my table and chairs the floors were dented by the chairs. I lifted the rug to clean and noticed the damage to the floors. My repairman advised that Bruce engineered flooring is the cheapest which are not worth the money and that before I put the house on the market I will need to replace all of the floors on the 1st level of my house due to the 10 slabs that have dented. The product is good to look at but cannot be sanded and is best suited for she sheds not places where people actually live. I will never buy this product again.
