"Customer Service"
3 e-mails to Kraus customer service remain unanswered despite a return
e-mail that a response would be coming soon. Obviously they are only
concerned about selling their product, after that, no interest in the
customer. I would never buy from this company again and would warn any
potential buyers that is anything goes wrong you are on your own.

"Worst flooring I've seen"
We put the Kraus Legacy Supreme flooring throughout out our brand new
home. Within 6 months, chips started showing in the center edge of
several planks in at least 2 rooms. One of these was in front of the
master bedroom closet. There were places where the planks were cupping
as well. I contacted the home builder, as we were still under the 1 year
warranty, and he contacted the company. A rep was sent to look at the
problem and he verbally agreed that these problems should not have
occurred. However his written report was totally different, blaming the
damage on "high traffic" and using too much moisture when cleaning. I
had told the rep that I used a steam mop once a week on the kitchen area
only but had wiped in front of my closet with only a damp papertowel.
Since then several of the planks have sagged because the piece that
slides into the corresponding groove has either broken off or was never
there from the start. The company refused to back their product at all.
I can't wait to get this junk out of my home and will never purchase
anything from this company again.

"Deny Warranty"
Professionally installed Moselle Champagne Acacia wood flooring by Kraus
in new home. Problems began within 6 months with creaking. Kraus sent
out inspector for warranty evaluation. Kraus denied warranty coverage
alleging water damage from use of 4x cleaning over 18 month period with
damp [not wet] mop. Floor replaced at consumer's expense and reinstalled
professionally. Post analysis of flooring showed tongue and groove
router cuts were not exact during manufacturing process. The loose fit
allowed movement [creaking]. Poor product and non-customer oriented
company imo.

ago, six months after the floor was put down it split and also the
finish was wearing off called the business it was purchased from and
they contacted Kraus they sent out an inspector . When we got the report
they said the problem was the way it was installed and our fault because

"Dont buy Kraus"
Bought Kraus Wood floor two years ago 6 months after purchase floor
starts splitting and the finish scratches off. Flooring America in
Triadelphia wv sold and recommended to us. The company sent an
inspector and sent a report that it was the way the floor was put
down and they would not honor any warranty. Will never buy a Kraus
product and would not recommend to any one also would not buy from
Flooring America again. Two years later and this is the worst floor I
have ever put down it scratches the finish with anything that touches
it. Very Unsatisfied with this company. What a waste of your money it
was not cheap.

"Replacement flooring, wood vs carpet."
We ripped out the carpet and installed the free floating wood flooring last year. It is a very durable floor that is easy to install. The pieces come in a snap together type. The flooring we chose is alternating shades of dark to lighter strips that run in a vertical length.
The flooring is easy to clean by simply using as light vacuum cleaner, broom or dust mop. Then it can be mopped with a well rung out damp mop and a vinegar and water solution. Or it can be cleaned with a sweeper such as Swiffer or the Clorox sweeper with the solution and cleaning pads.
I would buy the same brand again and recommend it to a friend. It should last many years with normal wear. If it does need scratch repair there are products available to fill them in.
I love the flooring for it's beauty, ease to clean and low maintenance.
