"Cleaning"
I feel I need to upgrade my review of my waterproof floor My complaint was cleaning because I had constant footprints and marks all the time. I had been using a spray and clean product and finally noticed how sticky my floor felt. I switched to a microfiber mop and just water with a bit of detergent (neutral ph) No more problems! It looks great and no footprints. Yes it does leave grooves if you move heavy furniture so you learn to not do that.

"Cleaning"
My biggest complaint. Is how hard it is to keep clean. Shoes, socks bare feet and even cat paws leave marks. I'm having to clean the floor constantly. It looks great when clean but I live alone. A family would be a nightmare with this

"Run, run quickly from this company."
I had cheap builder's grade engineered hardwood. I had to replace it due to a leaky window. So, I had new Shaw engineered hardwood installed. The new Shaw flooring is horrible. It splinters, chips, and cracks. Too, when moving the furniture back in the rollers left roller marks on the floor (indentions). Shaw told me that all hardwood does that. That is a lie. I grew up with hardwood and never ever did this happen even after 20 years or more. All Shaw is interested in is blaming the customer. Before I ever buy anything made by Shaw again I will pay to have the concrete stamped and sealed. Do not buy anything Shaw makes. It is a complete waste of money. They do not stand behind their products. I could have used newspaper on the floor, that would have lasted longer.

"Not worth it"
Floor been in a few months, chipping splitting, they have so far blamed moisture, blamed the dog, paid over $14,000 for floor, wish I had seen these reviews. Will never buy another Shaw product and I will be putting all over social media. We got the inspector hired by Shaw from the flooring company, he blamed heavy traffic, there is only two of us at home and a very gentle golden retriever. Not happy at all. The floor looks terrible. I am so sad!

"Quality Issues"
So many chips, scratches, and worn edging on the planks after just three years and with very gentle use. Sometimes spilled water will cause bubbling and warping on the surface level, and that when the water is cleaned up immediately. This is hands down the least durable wood floor I've ever had in my 15 years of renting, and that rental history includes all types from laminate to 70 year-old oak plank.

"Worst flooring I've ever had."
We bought Picasso hickory engineered hardwood by Shaw. I wish so bad I had read these reviews first. I love the look of the flooring but it scratches very easily. One reviewer said she just looks at it and it scratches. I agree with her! We damp mop the flooring after vacuuming. The flooring has started to crack and the top layer had started to come apart from the base. We called the company who sold it and they filed a claim with Shaw. Shaw had a inspector come out and since he's paid by Shaw, he found that it's water damage. So I guess you can't clean the floor? Shaw is refusing to do anything. It's obvious they are selling subpar products. I highly recommend not buying anything made by Shaw.

"100% Dont Buy"
Bought Shaw waterproof flooring from Home depot (over 70 bucks a box for 6 pieces). The locking mechanism is horrible. The corners all chip during install despite you following directions perfectly. Then when you get 5 or 6 rows in, the rows that were previously locked in, become undone. Then you have to remove all the pieces and restart. Had to do this like 8 times before i was able to finish the floor. Then, 8 days went by (nothing heavy was placed on the floor, the floor started to unlatch again. However its right in the center so its impossible to fix without redoing. Never again will i deal with such a junk product. Also shaw is no help because no matter what happens, all they say is... "the floor must be unlevel, you installed wrong etc" how about the wood floor i had before. It was a interlocked type and never had issues. The only reason i replaced it was because i had a pipe break and it warped the flooring. Thank you shaw for your fucking horrible product, false advertisment and false sense of "warranty" and standing behind your product,

"Garbage"
This floor scratches if you look at it. It's just me in the home and I've only been here a little over a month. I can't tell you how many scratches and dents there are to numerous to count. It's garbage. As soon as I can afford I will be replacing with Mohawk laminate. Shaw sells junk!

"I wish I had found these reviews before I bought this flooring."
I've done 2 other floors and had great success. I foolishly thought spending a little more money would only make it easier. Thou fool. This was the worst experience in my 48 years of life. I thought maybe I just had to figure out the intricacies of this particular flooring and that I would get it soon. No sir! Thankfully I can return full boxes to the store. I hope Shaw will make good on the other two. But I'm not gonna hold my breath. I will never buy a shaw product again. Do not buy this product!

"Worst mistake ever"
We paid over $16k for our floors. At just over a year old, they look like we have lived here over 10 years and there is only 2 of us. We have taken care of floors as recommended by manufacturer. Floors are splintering at seams and stain is lifting off throughout the house. Contractor was Shaw representative and said they would replace bad flooring up to 2 boxes. So they admit there is an issue but won't do the right thing and fully replace. That won't even take care of 1/2 the bad boards. Looking into legal options at this point. Do not buy Shaw product
