Review:
"Worst carpet ever!"
My elderly mother bought Martha Stewart Living Beekman II carpet from Home Depot (manufactured by Shaw) for her family room in 2011 and then bought more of the same for the rest of the downstairs, stairway, and upstairs hall in 2012. Around 2013, discolored areas started becoming noticeable throughout. These areas have continued to get bolder and new ones keep appearing, indicating that whatever is causing the issue is still present. At this time, all of the carpet purchased from Home Depot have this discoloration and include spots, blotches, and stripes, and are all the same orange/gold color. There are three other rooms and a bathroom that have carpets that are between 20 and 30 years old and none of them have any kind of stain or discoloration other than normal fading. In fact, in the 53 years that she has been in the house, none of her carpets have ever done what the Home Depot carpeting is doing. She tried to get service under the "lifetime" warranty in May 2014 and again in Feb 2016. Both times Home Depot and Shaw sent out "certified" carpet inspectors who could not find any indication that the consumer had done anything improper. There was no change in the ph (7.0), no change in water repellency, nothing under ultraviolet light, no change in fluorescence, no odor, no solvent or cleaning residue, etc. Nothing at all. And yet, even though the spots continue to appear and become bolder, they concluded that it was site related and consistent with cleaning or bleaching agents. They have no evidence of this, but that's what they blamed it on anyway. How about poor quality/defective materials? Warranties are supposed to cover materials and workmanship. If there's no evidence of the consumer doing anything wrong, and the problem is still persisting, then the logical conclusion is that there is something wrong with the materials. Bottom line is this... Don't buy this carpet, and don't buy from home depot! The product is garbage and both the manufacturer and home depot won't stand behind it!

"Can't get stains out. No longer carried by Home Depot."
I purchased carpeting for my stairs, hallway and two bedrooms. The carpet is horrible and I paid a lot more thinking that it would be a better quality. It stains and can not get the stains out! Had it professionally cleaned several times and the stains still appear. It supposedly had a guarantee that if the stains didn't come out and it was professionally cleaned it would be replaced another reason I purchased it! When I called Home Depot about the warranty they said there was nothing they could do. I just went to Home Depot to see if I could purchase more of the carpet to replace the stained carpet and they no longer carry it! I wonder why? Now I have to buy new carpet and replace all of the carpet in both rooms and stairs etc. I will never buy another Martha Stewart product again!

"Martha Stewart carpeting"
First of all I was given a false sense of quality by the price I paid. Within six months the carpet started bubbling. It stains even when there is nothing that could have caused the stain. Seams show and there is a pull about 12' long as well as pulls in several places in the carpet for unknown reasons. It has faded. It looks worse than the 28 year old carpet I replaced for this rug. It is the most disappointing purchase I ever made. Do not even consider buying.

"Waste of money"
Carpet started fading within the first year. Small orange spots begin to appear. Every seam can be seen. The only section of carpet to retain the original color was under a heavy box.

"Horrible carpet unravels"
I am an interior designer and this is by far the worst carpet product I have ever seen installed. The loops can easily catch on something and are poorly attached to the backing. Once caught the entire row will quickly unravel like a run in a stocking. This carpet has been in a year, and there are three major runs, the entire thing will need to be replaced. Do not buy

"Terrible"
This is by far the worst looking carpet I have ever seen, we've had it for two days, no kids, no pets, and it looks like it is 15 years old. The quality is cheap and terrible. It has dark shading which makes it look dingy. It looks like it belongs in a garage. Stay away from this brand. I'll bet Martha Stewart hasn't actually seen it on a floor, or she might not have endorsed it.

"Awful carpet"
Sure wish I would have read these before I paid top dollar for this garbage carpet. I have never had carpet that gets dirty and stains so easily. It really is ridiculous. Its not even what I had picked out but I let the high pressure sales rep get a hold of me with some bogus demonstration of how "stain resistant" it is. Now I am out $6000 and my flooring looks horrible!

"Carpet is not acceptable"
I had this carpet installed throughout my home. I used groupons to have people maintain cleaning, and I have cleaned numerous times and vacuum daily for high traffic areas. The problem is that the fiber-weave crushes to dissimilar conditions, and the carpet stains easier than any carpet I have previously had. Going to contact Home Depot, hoping I get the warranty honored. A little worried as the only positive reviews listed are obviously Public Relations plants (only ones without email addresses). This could be bad...
