"Do not use bellawood"
After two years the flooring looked dull and started chipping. I was told we picked an extremely hardwood but it dented with every little thing dropped on it. Now it looks so terrible my 12 year old niece even commented on how worn they look. Stay away from this company.

"Ultra soft - dents and scratches easily"
If you drop anything, even light things, the floor will dent. It will also dent if you step on anything. It's very soft and we are very disappointed. I remember the rating in the store showed it on par with white oak. Either the rating was misrepresented or the product itself is not what it's supposed to be. I would not buy this again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

"Avoid, look elsewhere."
All the bad reviews are true, it dents and scratches very easily. It was our first time ever purchasing hardwood floors, shame on us for not researching this better. The 100 year warranty is useless and a marketing gimmick.

"Poor workmanship and customer care and warranty"
Purchased pre- sealed brazillian cherry flooring for first phase of job when could afford purchased same type of flooring for second phase. when second phase of flooring installed i noticed wood different and not as shinny i was told wait a couple of weeks second phase of installed flooring would look same as first phase of flooring installed. it did not i accepted it as is. second part of installed flooring started to discolor and started to have ripples in it, it was inspected to determin cause ll could not find cause agreed to replace the flooring put in on the second phase. I requested LL to make sure replacement wood will be pre-sealed brazillian cherry as the first phase installed. wood delivered, was not pre-sealed told no longer available. was not compensated for inferior type of wood floor still squeaks all over when walked on left message pertaing to squeaking no call back been four days. never recommend to anyone trouble

"Complete Junk"
This floor came with a new home we purchased, the builder picked up the flooring, while is does look amazing at first, that look lasts about 1 week, as soon as you drop anything on the floor and I mean anything, it will dent. Sections have begun to split and separate. The floor also scratches very very easily. I would avoid Lumber Liquidators and anything that sells Bellawood on it, and yes we tried the specific Bellawood floor cleaner, that wont help scratches, dents of splitting. Do your research this flooring is complete junk and wont last. Buyer beware!

"Save your money"
The floor looked beautiful when first installed, but that didn't last long.
The flooring came in random lengths, with far too many short pieces. The worst part was the amount of waste due to cracked pieces and the varying widths which leads to irregular spaces.
Based on other reviews I have to agree, If you are going to have a dog, get standard red oak as the Bellawood shows every scratch. Also, what ever you do.... do NOT drop anything on the floor as it dents. I believe the Koa was to be harder than oak - not so. Also read that the 50, 100 year warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on.
Has I researched the product instead of listening to Bob Villa I would not have purchased this product. Caveat Emptor!

"PDB Pretty darn bad"
At half the price I might've been just neutral, but with what this cost I am very unsatisfied! The mill work is poor to begin with, I let the climate ties for over 30 days at approximately 30% humidity, when I install that it was tight, over the last year and a half it has shrunk considerably. The darker pieces have shrunk more than the lighter colored ones. That tells me that it was poorly cured. To summarize is just a cheap product at a high marketed price. You're being charged for hype. I've been in the construction industry my whole life, I've been in new and remodel construction since I first rode with my father To jobs. I swear it's a product that Should be sold at a Walmart. I do not recommend it for anyone building anything nice. Just my opinion,

"Splitting and Face Checking"
Within 2 weeks of install, noticed white fine splintering along the grain of the wood. Boards were also starting to show gaps more the 1/16th. Took the unopened boxes back for refund. Was going to do the entire 1st floor of my home and glad I paused after doing a 11x11 room. All my moisture levels met requirements from manufacture. House is dry and on crawl space. Sub floor was very dry and well below limits. Followed all recommendations. Having to load up 22 boxes and take it back....not happy.

"Finish is gone"
Read reviews before you buy. The guarantee is worthless. Don't even bother with it.
