"Find another company"
Searched for months to find the right style, color, width flooring, and found Bella Cera Cinque Terre, engineered flooring. We were very excited and loved it for the first six months. Then I noticed scratch marks under the stools in the kitchen, and under various other furniture pieces, doubled up on the felt pads and tried to restain those areas. Didn't work. two years later, this floor is a mess. Scratches all over the place, stain coming up in all the heavily traffic areas (by the way, there are only two of us). It is the fault of the Pre-finish garbage they are using. Tried to complain to the folks who sold it to us, and got nowhere except to say that's what happens to dark wood floors and that's what happens when you have high traffic areas. Not true. Had hardwoods all the time growing up, never saw this kind of wear and I had two dogs, three cats. If I cannot get satisfaction anywhere, I will sand, restain and poly the daylights out of them. Since no one is willing to step to the plate and fix this mess, what good is a 200 year warranty? I love the way these floors look, but the pre-finish is non-existent. Look elsewhere, buy something from a company that stands behind and on top of their product.

"Hardly "Hard" wood"
I agree with reviewers that are talking about dents and scratches. Just had 600 square feet of the stuff installed. Same thing... we have no kids, we walk around in stocking feet - less than 3 weeks later we already have dents. Lined all our furniture with thick felt pads. An adult male sat on one of our oak kitchen chairs for about an hour. We padded all the feet ahead of time. The sun came through the window the next day... a mess of dents! Arrghhh! Not even sure why they even sell the stuff. The rest of house has 50 year old red oak floors and that never would have happened.

"Bella Red Oak"
I bought this flooring 800 square feet the better brand in 3inch plank, this wood was suposoded to be so strong and durableand. I accidently have droped a hair brush and it dented. It scratches easy and dented from just chairs that had felt on them for protection. We purchased the higher priced one so that they would look unified and many of the planks are different. I have worried about this floor since installed because of it not being durable. that I have throw rugs over it to protect it more and to cover areas that have damaged. so regret it and should of listen to husband to go with carpet or a different brand. Also Lumber liquidators took 3 month to finally finish its order.

"Love it"
I don't understand the negative reviews at all... my hubby installed in our dining room 8 years ago and in our study 2 years go and now in the great room. It is gorgeous... installed with no issues.... holds up well. Brazilian cherry darkens in color as the sun hits it, so if you cover part with a rug it will definitely be lighter, but that is what is supposed to do. I don't see it scratching easy either. Ours has held up beautifully. I am perplexed by these reviews... three time we have installed the same product and three times we are happy.

"Bad Milling/Poor Quality Flooring"
We purchased 55 boxes of Bellawood Brazilian Cherry 3/4x3-1/4 hardwood flooring. Nineteen of the 55 boxes have boards that measure anywhere from 1/16" to 3/32" difference from one end of the board to the other end. That's 35% of the boards that are not usable. Of the remaining 65%, each box contains at a minimum of four different widths of boards (3-1/4, 3-1/6, 3-1/32, 3-1/2). The boxes of flooring were kept in a climate control environment since delivered. The contractor is forced to measure each board which is a time consuming process but necessary due to the poor quality of the cuts. The milling defects in the 55 boxes equate to approximately 75%. The Bellawood/Lumber Liquidator website and Lumber Liquidator states to expect a 10% allowance for milling/finished defects... 75% defects is unacceptable. The milling of Bellawood flooring is of poor quality... period! Lumber Liquidator in Wilkes Barre, PA was of no help what so ever... in fact they refused discuss the quality of the flooring or any problems encountered with the difference in widths/defects.

"Not a professional"
I will start off by saying I don't understand the negative reviews. I am not a floor installer but I am handy. Had no problems, purchased equipment to install the floor. YouTube videos and advice from the store, all went well. Took longer than if it were done by a professional but it was a great Father & Son project.

"Worse Flooring Ever"
Purchased this flooring for my kitchen, wanted the flooring that was already treated. Installed floor and immediately had scratches putting the refrigerator back in its place, using moving material. That was day #1, day #2, moved kitchen table and chairs back in kitchen, scratched entire floor. If anything goes drops on this flook, immediate dent in flook. My floor is a terrible mess. I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing from Lumber Liquidators. It will be my mission to get my money back!

"I wish I had found this page before buying"
This stuff cost quite a bit more than the typical wood floor. Plus it was supposed to have a lifetime warranty. The wood is very pretty and our installer did a wonderful job.
But now we're seeing cracks in the boards that weren't there when we installed it. The installer rejected a lot of boards for just this reason and was careful to inspect each piece he put in. The cracks have sharp, raised edges that could cut skin. I wrote to Bellawood and sent pictures.
Months later, their response was "that's not covered by the warranty, tough buns, hire someone to repair it".
So just what does this wonderful lifetime warranty cover? Nothing.
I am seriously wishing I had gone elsewhere.

"Lots of waste"
Yes, it's nice looking, but they include too many short pieces in the boxes, which leads to tons of scrap. In other words, rather than include all long boards that you can cut yourself, they include short boards so that you'll be forced to buy more boxes. Sleazy! Do not waste your money. Buy from a more honest company.

"Not Impressed"
Should have checked these reviews before buying. We did our entire 1st floor in the prefinished, select grade oak in 2012. The finish and color have held, no complaints there, but the wood seems to dent if you stare at it too hard. We have hundreds of small scratches and little dents and I'm not referring to furniture- no pieces have been mined and all are on felt pads. Disclaimer that we do have small children who play on the floor and drop there plastic toys and cars, but they also do this at their grandparents house (who watch them all week) and their floors look great. They had older oak floors, not Bella wood, that were refinished 15 years ago the traditional way.
