"Mullican Flooring"
We are extremely pleased with our Mullican flooring. The Austin Springs
Lock-to-Fit was easy to install and looks fantastic, and the maintenance
is almost non-existent compared to the carpet it replaced.

"Excellent Product!"
I've used Mullican in three office buildings and my home. One of the
most telling comments I received was from the installers. They see a lot
of wood flooring and their comments were, "wow, this is nice flooring
and it's really easy to install." Tough to beat that kind of
recommendation.

"Splinters, gaps in finish, rough edges"
I just had our defective, solid oak, site finished floors replaced with the above referenced product. I shopped around for months and was very pleased with the beauty, quality and depth of the Mullican samples I viewed in my home. The lifetime finish warranty was a factor in my decision to install their St. Andrews 5" Solid Oak Saddle. I pre-ordered a sample of the current run to verify the accuracy of the sample color, which was a good match overall. I asked to have the flooring delivered one week prior to the install for it to acclimate. The installation was uneventful, with a moderate amount of waste.
As the installation progressed to the second story of my home, I began to notice small white tufts adhering to the floor, and on closer inspection realized that pieces of the installer's socks had been snagged by multiple raised pieces of unfinished wood. This warranted even broader close inspection, which revealed inconsistently unsealed edges, a large percentage of which were splintering or on the verge of doing so, cracking, splitting, dented or missing pieces of wood. The surface was acceptable except for a moderate number of small, bare holes, several areas of open grain which the sealer had not completely penetrated, along with some cracks.
Mullican's warranty does not cover flooring which has any type of noticeable defect or damage if it was installed in spite of the flaws at the installer's discretion. Based on both negative and positive reviews of this company's product, if you select their flooring materials you should hand inspect each piece before it is installed. I have to say I have owned three other homes with pre-finished hardwoods, each in builder's grade, and never, I emphasize NEVER, experienced a quality issue in any of them. I am currently waiting to hear from Mullican's representative about how to proceed with this incomplete install.

"Frontier Tuscan Brown Solid 5""
I would not buy it again and would recommend others to shop around more to find a better product. The sample looked very nice but... when it's arrived there was waste because of quality; edges and finish were not good at all, and it's rough so cleaning will be a pain! and I even got splinter when I tried it with my hand! Cleaning definitely will a nightmare though it does like quite nice as it's new

"Super happy with Mullican"
I've had my Mullican Hickory floors for just over a year now. I purchased the character grade hickory and couldn't be happier with the end result, the variation in the graining is beautiful, and has just enough knots to give it the character I had hoped for. The only thing I do wish I had done is choose varying widths. I had gone with only 3", but it came in 3", 4", and 5". I wish I had chosen a mixture of all 3, I think that would have added more interest to the floor. Even when the installer was putting the floor in, he mentioned there wasn't much waste, or boards that he couldn't use. With all the traffic in our home, kids, a dog, and many family gatherings, the finish still looks as good as the first day it was installed. I would certainly remember the brand Mullican for any future projects, and will tell anybody to choose their products as well.
