"Stainmaster Berber Carpet"
This carpet has served well enough, but to be honest it doesn't live up to its name. While it has done marvelously insofar as wear it seems like every thing that touches it leaves a stain. I can not complain too much, the carpet is about 7 years old now, it has never been easy to keep clean. I am planning on taking it out soon in fact. I do like the strength of it, even very high traffic areas have not worn down. If it didn't show stains from every single thing that ever touched it over the years I would be overjoyed. I've cleaned it and had it cleaned professionally. It has served well, and I would recommend it in high traffic areas such as staircases. I'm planning on replacing most of the carpet in my house with stone tiles though, and for the areas I do want carpeted I think I might go with something with an even lower profile.

"great carpet wears well with pets"
We purchased our carpet in dec 2010. After many trips to the bigbox stores and a few hours reseaching. We knew that a loop carpet and stainmaster brand was what we wanted. you see we have two midsize dogs and a teenage son. we saw spills in our future. the main reason for the final descion was because our carpet cleaner said he had the same carpet for sometime and that it cleaned well and wore evenly. the color matches our decor nicely and we would certainly recommend this carpet to anyone with pets or teenagers.

"My Carpet from Home Depot"
About three years ago, I installed new carpet in my family room as well as my upstairs hallway and staircase leading to it. The old carpet was the original carpet the builder installed in my home of 15 years. I purchased the new carpet from Home Depot since I had neighbors who also purchased from them previously and were impressed with the price, installation and quality. Choosing a carpet color was the hardest piece of the process. Home Depot allowed me to take a small sample piece home to try it against my other decor. The piece of carpet was small however, and it was hard to get a good idea of how it would look in a larger piece of carpet. One of my main concerns about the carpet was wear marks and durability. I don't have any pets, but the areas that the carpet was being installed in were high traffic areas so it needed to stand up well to dirt.
I expressed my concerns to the Home Depot representative who assured me that this brand of carpet tested well for durability and for dirt prevention. However, after only three years of wear, the carpet shows extreme wear marks and has several spots that will not come out. I've had the carpet cleaned professionally and still the spots remain. The color is very light so the stains and wear marks are very apparent.
The installation was acceptable; however the manner in which the carpet was installed on the stairs is inconsistent.
If I had to do it again, I would not purchase carpet from Home Depot.

"Review of Stainmaster Carpet"
We recently decided to install new carpet in our downstairs portion of our house. These are high traffic areas of use, the living room, hallway, and dining room. We opted for a neutral beige pile, so it would change with our style. So far, we are very satisfied with our choice of Stainmaster carpet. We have two small children and a 70lb. dog, and it has already been put to the test. The kids are constantly spilling chocolate milk, and the dog has tracked in muddy paw prints. We just wet a rag or washcloth with water, and wipe the spill or stain right up. You can't even tell that anything was spilled. We have even had spaghetti sauce spilled, and red wine. There are no traces of anything. This is definitely the type of carpet you want to have if you have children or pets.
The only complaint we have is the seam in the hallway. It is barely visible, but you still can notice it if you look. However, this doesn't have to do with the type of carpet but the installation. I just worry that after a couple of years with the seam in the high traffice area that you may begin to see the seam more. Supposedly, the installer guaranteed the work for five years, so if we do have a problem, we'll be calling them for the fix.
So far, we are pleased with our purchase of Stainmaster carpet, and would purchase it again. We would also recommend it to anyone who has children or pets because of the stain protection and durability.

"A Lovely Stainmaster Carpet Experience"
My Stainmaster carpet is 2 years old and it has performed well and looks beautiful throughout my house. It is wall-to-wall except for the kitchen, laundry room and both bathrooms. I like the fact that it is sturdy, stands up to traffic, stain resistant and easy to spot clean stains when required. The carpet is plush and feels good to our feet, has a great looking texturized surface. The pad has a moisture barrier with extended warranty, which is good because I had a flood in the laundry room 2 years ago. The carpet was soaked in my entrance hall and some of the great room. My homeowners insurance paid to have the carpet replaced with Stainmaster's carpet and I have been very satisfied with the product.

The only thing I dislike is the static electricity created in the winter months from friction when we walk across the carpet. We must vacuum frequently, but that is to be expected with any carpet.

The original carpet was replaced after 7 years due to a pipe bursting and creating standing water in my laundry room, entrance hall and great room. Therefore, my carpet was ruined and had to be replaced. The Stainmaster carpet has been an excellent replacement.

Yes, I would buy the same brand again. I would also recommend it to a friend.

"My review of my majestic brown carpet"
I have had the carpeting in my apartment for over 2 1/2 years. It has never failed to keep its color and be stain resistant. Numerous times i have spilled coffee on it in the mornings, and with a quick dab of a wet paper towel, the stain comes right up. My favorite thing about the carpet is its soft feel on my feet in the morning. One thing i dis like about my carpet is that dirt DOES tend to show up quite a bit. In high traffic areas, like in front of my front door or the entrance to my bedroom, there are tell tale signs of high traffic. This is to be expected of any carpeting but it is an issue none the less. I would highly recommend this brand to a friend or choose to put it down in a new apartment in the future. It is reasonably inexpensive, has a soft feel to it, and has a nice color

"Happy with product"
We purchased this this carpet for the new sun room we had just had built. We knew this would be a high traffic area so we asked the sales person which would be the most durable and easiest cleaning. She recommended the Dupont Stainmaster based on other customers feedback . We decided this sounded like what we where looking for in a product. The price was a little higher than some of the other brands which made the same claims . The installation went well and there where no problems or issues with the product during it. We have had it now for one year ,and it has fully lived up to all of our expectations . We have only had to clean it once ,just recently , and it cleaned up wonderfully . The fibers did not mate down ,any heavily soiled areas came completely clean with no problem. I would recommend this product to anyone thinking of replacing carpeting in a high traffic area ,or who has pets or children.

"Dupont Stainmaster Carpet"
I purchased the Dupont Stainmaster carpet six months ago for my office. I purchased it on a recommendation from my friend. The carpet was substantially cheaper than having hardwood floors laid. It has held up very well. The carpet feels perfect and fluffy. I have spilled soda and even dropped a slice of pizza on it. It cleans very quickly and easily and just requires a little water or Resolve carpet cleaner. The best thing about the carpet is that the thickness, even though we got a mid grade padding , it has a wonderful feeling. I always walk on it without my shoes on and it feels great. My youngest , 2 year old daughter has even fallen alseep on it ! If anyone I knew wanted to purchase carpet , I would definitely recommend a Stainmaster carpet. The carpet has not been professionally cleaned yet , but I am sure it will hold up very well.

"Carpet review"
My carpet stainmaster, the one and only solution to the ultimate carpet, requires minimal effort in maintenance. The "Stainmaster" is one of my favorite products and I would suggest it to anyone. I like the fabrics that are intertwined in this material. The only suggestion I would make to the makers of "stainmaster," is to integrate less cotton into the weaving. I have steam cleaned the carpet several times, and went very well. I would definitely buy this brand of carpet again, and in fact, I would recommend this carpet to all of my friends and family. This product is the best in efficiency, style, and maintenance. "Stainmaster" products saved me time, money, and also were easy to keep up with during social events, and parties. Several times, I have had accidents with major spills and dog hair, but the carpet has great resilience, and has the ability to withhold any occasion, no matter the size it possesses.

"The Best Carpet I've Ever Bought"
Recently I had to purchase new carpet for the office in my house. My fiance and I spend a lot of time doing some work from home in this office, and have been known on a few occasions to eat and drink while working. There have been many times when one of us has spilled something on the carpet, leaving a stain. When it came time for us to replace this carpet, we decided to get a brand that is known for being stain resistant, which is why we went with StainMaster. We've had this carpet for 3 months now, and I absolutely love it. I've noticed that it does, for the most part, not hold stains. They are very easy to clean and look wonderful. But even with the StainMaster brand, some stains are inevitable. It was also a bit more expensive than many other brands, which could possibly be a deterrent for someone in the market for new carpeting. Having only had this carpet for a few months, I have not had to have them professionally cleaned, although I do recommend vacuuming at least once a week to keep them clean. I would definitely buy this brand again, and I have even convinced a friend of mine to go with the StainMaster brand. Overall this carpet is fantastic.
