"The Best Carpet I've Ever Bought"
Recently I had to purchase new carpet for the office in my house. My fiance and I spend a lot of time doing some work from home in this office, and have been known on a few occasions to eat and drink while working. There have been many times when one of us has spilled something on the carpet, leaving a stain. When it came time for us to replace this carpet, we decided to get a brand that is known for being stain resistant, which is why we went with StainMaster. We've had this carpet for 3 months now, and I absolutely love it. I've noticed that it does, for the most part, not hold stains. They are very easy to clean and look wonderful. But even with the StainMaster brand, some stains are inevitable. It was also a bit more expensive than many other brands, which could possibly be a deterrent for someone in the market for new carpeting. Having only had this carpet for a few months, I have not had to have them professionally cleaned, although I do recommend vacuuming at least once a week to keep them clean. I would definitely buy this brand again, and I have even convinced a friend of mine to go with the StainMaster brand. Overall this carpet is fantastic.

"DuPont StainMaster is so wonderful"
I have had DuPont StainMaster for over a decade an it has definitively lived up to it's reputation as a dye replant carpet.Handfulls of spills later and many a accident later it still doesn't get stained by cool aid,juices and other products that contain color dyes.That being said,now for what I don't like the protection it has doesnt extend to dirt and heavy soil like red mud or clay.
Therefore if you want more protection you will have to get it treated with Scotch guard or something of the like.Every 12 to 24 months I get it cleaned by a professional service and I do maintenance with a steam cleaner in between.
All in all I would buy StainMaster carpet again for my home and I do recommend it to anyone that wants that fresh look year round.It will save you tons of hassle and you will be a very happy camper when the young ones come to visit.I don't even want to know what it's like not to have it.
