"Poor quality, (possibly defected)"
Couple of days after installation hoops and pieces of strands were sticking up from carpet. Also black spots were showing. I had to tie the strands together to prevent more damage. The carpet became so flat looking it appeared there was no matt under it. StainMaster refused to come look at the carpet. The carpet was installed by lowes. They also refused to help, this went on for 6 months, no resolution. Total loss for me over $2000.00.
Never use Lowes or purchase Stainmaster carpet.

"Stainmaster Pet Protect Padding"
After reading reviews of Stainmaster Pet Protect carpets I didn't go with them but I did buy the Stainmaster Pet Protect padding. The top of it is like the bottom of a training pad. Nothing can get through to absorb into the padding which makes accidents easy to clean off the carpet. I'm very satisfied with the padding and recommend it with the carpet of your choice.

"Absolutely the worst carpet I've ever owned"
Even the simplest stains do not lift from this carpet. Everywhere we walk the carpet looks worn and this carpet has only been down for two years. There are only two people living in this house it looks like we own dogs cats and have 10 kids living on this carpet. Trust me I'm not trying to insult anybody with dogs cats and kids it's just this is the most disappointing carpet purchase I've ever made.

"Delaminated before installed"
We bought Stainmaster Live Well Classified Cambric carpet to be installed in March 2018 from Lowes. The carpet came badly delaminated in many areas and the installers were shocked that it had passed inspection from the mill. It was returned. Lowes called to get I reordered from a different roll and was told that they were still cutting from that run so, we would likely get the same delaminated carpet. We are trying a different color but it will need to be inspected by mill & installer before it is brought out.

"Three runners in carpet"
Have 3 runners in my 2 year old carpet, manufacturers say it's visual warranty. Stainmaster says if it was defective it would of shown when it was put in. So $1700 spent on carpet with runners. Lowes says their is nothing they can do. Just my luck!

"Bad carpet"
We had stainmaster carpet installed on our steps, hall and bedroom. about 2 days after we had the carpet put in, my sinuses started dripping real bad. i thought it was because i removed the old carpet so i could paint before installation. i just figured the dust. 2 months later, still dripping. went to doctor and he said you are allergic to stainmaster carpet. he said it happens alot because stainmaster uses formaldehyde to cure their carpet here in the USA. What? so, i spent $1400 on carpet that has poison on it. sure wish lowes would have let me know that little tid bit of information

"Awful product failed after 3 years"
We purchased Stainmaster carpet with a 25 year warranty. The Stainmaster carpet was supposed to be for high traffic areas and ideal for families. We had it installed in our family room in a home with two adults and two small dogs under 15 pounds. After three years the pattern was completely worn out in the carpet, when I contacted Stainmaster's claims department they criticized my vacuum cleaner (Dyson) and criticized my carpet cleaning schedule. The claims representative continued to tell me that I voided the warranty by not having the carpet cleaned every 18 months I told him after we had it cleaned after the first 18 months the pattern still did not come back but because I didn't have pictures to prove it he claimed I voided the warranty he then continued to criticize me saying that I should have done my due diligence as a consumer and looked it up on their website to know exactly how I needed to care for my carpet including deep cleaning schedule. I previously had cheap no-name carpet in the family room that I had bought at Menards and it held up better than this Stainmaster. I told the representative I was willing to except his story of our warranty being void if he was willing to except the fact that he would lose a customer because I have lost total faith and trust in Stainmaster and I will never buy one of their products again.

"Unfortunately duped by StainMaster"
Installed carpet February 1 2008, purchased from Sterling carpet in Orange County, CA who sold me the warranty on stainmaster ultralife. Total misrepresentation by both companies. Don't believe a word when it involves
StainMaster warranty ULTRA LIFE it's a scam to their customers. Stainmaster does not intend to hold a warranty and make it so difficult for the consumer. Thus far I've provided, original receipts from 2008, and professional cleaning receipts for every other year that stainMaster requests.( hard to believe but true) they rely on you not having them and provide you with a bogus warranty. They are not honoring a six-month gap in my professional carpet cleaning maintenance since 2008. Although I have a ULTRA-LIFE guarantee / warranty their claims department, is difficult to get a hold of. You cannot make contact by a phone call. And if you get the opportunity to work with their senior warranty claims analyst. Be prepared to be led on, put on hold for days after day, derailed, and lied to. Don't waste your money, or your time and don't believe in there scam! They scam their customers. Report to local BBB, DOJ and local television stations.
