FlooringReport.com has asked consumers to review their laminate and synthetic flooring since mid-2010. When homeowners write their reviews, they choose a rating between 5 ("Very Satisfied") and 1 ("Very Unsatisfied"). We then take the average of those ratings and rank them from best to worst:
We have reviews on more than 25 brands of synthetic flooring. However, we only show a rating for the fraction of those brands for which we have at least 5 reviews. If we have fewer reviews, we are concerned that a single particularly good (or bad) review could skew the average.
